Resources

We are gradually building this page to bring you resources that may be helpful as you develop your career as a Neurodivergent artist and/or creative.

Access Rider -

An Access Rider is a helpful document that allows people and organisations that you are working with to know your disability access needs. Ideally, a gallery, institution or organisation will ask you for your Access Rider when you start working with them.

Think of your Access Rider as a document that lays out what your requirements are in order for you to have equal access at work.

If you are an artist or art worker and identify as neurodivergent/crip/disabled/D/deaf and have encountered barriers in your working relationships or ability to take on opportunities because of your disability, then having an Access Rider might be useful for you.

Read this article by Shape Arts about Access Riders it includes a downloadable template.
