September Session
As our sessions go on we will explore the use of mapping as a tool (a roadmap?) to share what we feel we might have now as Neurodivergent artists, what we want in the future and what we could create/dream/imagine. Our map will be growing alongside our discussions.
Below are the Guidelines for participating in the Sanctuary Sessions:
There is no formal support structure in place at the Sanctuary Sessions. All participants are considered to be competent and autonomous.
There is no expectation to participate in a specific way.
Neurodivergent people’s needs and preferences are always considered when planning and running Sanctuary Sessions, but that doesn’t mean it will always be a perfect fit for you. One person’s needs might clash with another person’s. In such cases, we will do our best to work out a compromise, and we ask participants to try and be considerate of other people's needs as well as their own.
Hold each other in positive regard.
Sanctuary Sessions are run on a voluntary basis. We do our best within the limits of our knowledge, energy and resources.
Please remember that Sanctuary Sessions are run by neurodivergent people who may have many of the same needs and difficulties you do. Please remember to extend respect for these guidelines to everyone.
